how to make an NSTextField in a NSTableView editable
I have a table with an NSTextField in the first column and I need it to be editable.
The trouble is when I press the enter key the text in the textfield (the green underlined text) gets selected and I don't know how to prevent it from happening.
I tried setEditable(false) on the NSTextField, setEditable(true) on the tableview, but they don't work.
Does anyone know a way to prevent this from happening?

You need to connect the Table View Cell row delegate (set it to the file's owner) to the table's view outlet in the xib file.
When the cell is selected the value will be sent back to the view controller. You can use this for whatever purpose you like.
